Welcome to the Campaign Blog

Welcome to the Campaign Blog

Welcome to the Lunsford-Stumbo for Change Blog site.

I'm Rick Redding, and I'll be your tour guide as our online campaign cranks into gear. I'm the Web Director for the campaign, and I'll be posting a lot of information right here on the Lunsford-Stumbo for Change campaign blog. Check back regularly to see what's going on as we build momentum for Making the Bluegrass State Blue Again.

This is my first political campaign, but I've been involved in Kentucky politics. I've been a journalist for most of my career and a Kentuckian for all of my life. I started blogging on my own site,
The 'Ville Voice, late last year. Most recently, I wrote the Media column in Louisville's alternative weekly, LEO.

So let's make this a two-way street. I'll let you in on the behind-the-scenes aspects of the campaign, and you tell me what you think of what we're doing.
We want to make this a partnership, and open another line of communication. To truly bring real leadership and change to Kentucky is going to take all of us working together.

The campaign will be going to all corners of the state, and it's my job to make sure we've covered every inch of the Internet. That's why we've got a presence on several sites, including Mojo, Facebook and MySpace. If you've got ideas for improving our Web presence, just let me know here.

Consider it the campaign's diary, one that you can take a peek into as often as you like for an unfiltered version of Bruce and Greg on the campaign trail.

I'll be direct -- there's a lot of misinformation and falsehoods about this campaign. We are prepared to set the record straight, and answer any questions that come up. More importantly, we're running a positive campaign and will be talking to voters about Bruce and Greg's vision for changing Kentucky.
